SOLUTIONS BEGIN WITH
Full Truckload
If it can go on a truck, then we can haul or load it. This includes but is not limited to refrigerated, dry, open decks, drop trailers, international crossing, transloading, cross-docking, multi-stops, team drivers, drop & hook and more.
Temperature- Controlled
Working with some of the largest refrigerated freight customers and Trax largest network of drivers in North America, maintaining a super structure to transport perishable products are necessary in cold-chain logistics.
Dry Vans
Dry freight (non-perishables) are the 2nd largest Trax network of customers and drivers in North America; again, maintaining a super structure to transport products are necessary in dry-chain logistics.
Less than Truckload (LTL)/ Partials
Less than a full truck doesn’t mean you should settle for less service. The majority of LTL shipments have a brokerage fee listed twice on a partial shipment, in other words, your broker is getting a truck from a company who adds on fees for being the 3rd party provider of the LTL shipment itself. We both take away that additional cost and the guesswork of which “class” your shipment falls under so more money is kept in your pocket.
Open- Deck
This involves flatbeds, step-decks, Conestoga’s, lowboys, double drop and side kit (side loading Conestoga) trailers. Every carrier we work with ensures the tarps, tie-downs, tire chains and straps needed per commodity hauled.
Multi-Stop Loads
Although this seems self-explanatory, no matter if it’s a full truckload, a partial or an open deck load, our drivers are compensated for the additional time taken out of their day to transport successfully at each delivery.
Team Drivers (Expedited)
This is a mode of expedition in highest form; our duos of drivers on a single truck allows us to pick up and deliver in accelerated pace. Due to extended driving periods, with minimal mandated regulatory log breaks, this allots longer drive time which results in farther distance covered.
Drop Trailer – Drop & Hook
Not to be confused with power-only, our network of drivers has the ability to drop their trailer while waiting for the freight to be prepped and prepared to load. This of course, come with additional costs, as time is money, and our drivers must be compensated for the time taken their trucks stand still.
Power Only – Tractors Only
Not to be confused with drop trailer, our network of tractors only has the ability to hook to your empty or loaded trailer within minutes at the shipper and be on the way to delivery. It’s usually best if drivers have abilities to use the empty trailer and load up consignment along the way to our destination.
Cross-docking
Not to be confused with transloading, when freight from incoming trucks are wheeled across the loading dock, we have drivers that prefer being directly loaded onto our trailers without even entering a warehouse. This helps save costs by making smaller partial shipments into full truckload shipments.
Canada Cross-Border
The great news is the FMCSA allows carriers and active (MC/ USDOT) authorities to transport good across international borders. Many within our network use ArriveCAN, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and have passports to safely (and legally) transport product over country lines.
Intermodal- Train or Rail
This mode of transportation can be both cost effective and reliable for some customers, especially when it becomes difficult to find a truck for a specific lane. Although the lines can be intertwined with one another, intermodal should not be confused with drayage as this mode utilizes rail, sea and truck to cover the distance needed
Drayage- Rail or Port
Not to be confused with intermodal, this refers to hauling cargo from an ocean port or cargo terminal to a customer destination that involves a different method of transportation. We have local connections partnered with us near every port that can help facilitate those important drayage moves.
